Nick's Charcoal Pit

Delivery was quicker than expected! Food was hot and absolutely yummy. For about $40, you can get yourself some calamari, a shrimp platter with onion rings, and a baby back ribs & wings platter with fries. Onion rings and french fries were extremely crisp and not soggy whatsoever- which is rather difficult to do when ordering delivery. Whatever's in that chicken wing sauce, they've got me hooked. Would order again ASAP.

The food was great from here! We've gotten ribs, fries, onion rings, the buffalo chicken sandwhich and the filet mignon sandwhich. They were all amazing! The onion rings were honestly some of the best ive had and the buffalo chicken sandwhich was to die for. The only con was I thought from reviews that they would deliver much faster but it's take around an hour or more each time I've order. Definitely worth the wait though

They do just what they advertise: remove the grease. The delivery man showed up quick and my order was right. I had a bacon cheese burger, but it wasn't with a side of oil. It was perfect, grease-less, half pound of beef-berger. The bacon was just as perfect; no giant bubbles of fat or fat at all. And so far, this is the only place I have ordered from in South Philly that HASN'T burnt the fries.

Everything is freakin' awesome. Only thing I don't care for is their "special sauce". It's not that it tastes bad, it's actually quite tasty, However, it's simply olive oil and lemon juice. Not really worth a buck and change for the most simple salad dressing in the world. Bottom line, they're fast, and everything is ridiculously delicious. Especially for the price. AAAAMAZING.

First time ordering from Nick's. Most places that deliver forget the beverage or dessert as often as not. But I can't remember the last time anyone actually seemed to care about going above and beyond to make it right... except for Nick's. Very impressive customer service that did more for my night than the meal itself, which was also great. Give them a try.

When I opened the box I thought oh this looks kind of basic, but was actually full of flavor! Would order again but def a wee bit pricey.

Timely delivery, fantastic sandwich I will definitely order again soon.

The calamari is not good. But the ribs are the best.

Nick's! Man, this place is the truth.
